Prohibition of Imports Order (L.N. 19 of 2016)

This Order, made by the Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development, under section 9(1) (a), of the Biosecurity Act 2013, prohibit the importation from all countries of plants specified in the Schedule. Section 9 stipulates that the Minister may, by Order in the Gazette, prohibit the importation of particular-regulated articles from all countries if the importation would present an unacceptable biosecurity risk to Solomon Islands.
