Pure Food (Food Control) (Amendment) Regulations 2018 (Legal Notice No. 91).

These Regulations make amendments in the principal Regulations. Regulation 2 of the principal Regulations is amended by inserting the definitions of importing country, organic rice and unmilled rice. Regulation 5 amends Clause 11.2(1) of the Eleventh Schedule of the principal Regulations, as regards the standard that apply to husked rice, milled rice, and parboiled rice intended as human food sold either in packaged form or loose from the package. New Clause 11.2(5) is inserted to the Eleventh Schedule of the principal Regulations regarding the minimum levels of micronutrients during import, export, sale or any domestic production process.
