Simbo Megapode Management Area Ordinance 1990 (L.N. No. 99 of 1990).

The Simbo Megapode Management area means the area comprising the villages and the fields defined in this Ordinance. No persons shall carry out any actions in respect of megapodes or their eggs as set out in section 3.2. in the Simbo Megapode Management. This Ordinance does not affect customary ownership of the land within the area. For the better management of the area the field owners may meet and associate in a The Simbo Megapode Management Committee in accordance with section 5.2. The residents and field owners of the area are primarily responsible for the enforcement of this Ordinance. The Committee or the owners may appoint wardens under section 6.2.1.Permits for various activities in the area shall be submitted to and approved by the Committee under section 7.
