Co-operatives Act (Cap. 50).

This Act makes provision with respect to the establishment of cooperatives, their management and for the settlement of disputes for purposes of this Act and establishes a Cooperative Fund.
Cooperatives may be established by Order by the Minister as a body corporate. A cooperative shall be managed by a management committee initially to be appointed by the Minister. Moneys of the Cooperative Fund may be applied for the grant of loans to a cooperative or be used for such other purposes as the Minister may determine.
