Conservation and Climate Adaptation Trust of Seychelles (Amendment) Act, 2022. (Act 23 of 2022).

This Act amend the Conservation and Climate Adaptation Trust of Seychelles Act (the Principal Act). The title "Conservation and Climate Adaptation Trust of Seychelles Act, 2015 is substituted, wherever it appears, by the title Seychelles Conservation and Climate Adaptation Trust Act, 2015 .
The Act amends Section 2 concerning the administrative expenses; section 5 regarding the sources of funding; section 6 is reworded. Section 7 on the Board composition, is amended while section 8, concerning the Observers at the meetings of Board of Directors or Trust is repealed and replaced.
Sections 9 to 15 are reworded while subsection (1) of Section 17, concerning the immunity of any staff of the Trust or any member of a committee stablished under section 13 for acts, which is done in good faith in the exercise of their duties, is repealed and substituted. Section 21 is reworded.
Section 23, on the eligibility for a grant, is repealed and substituted. Section 25 is amended and section 26, on the limit on administrative expenses, is repealed and substituted. A new section 27A is added in Part IV, after section 27, regulating the submission by the Trust, at the end of each financial year, of (a) a report of the activities and operations; and (b) a statement of the audited accounts of the Trust for the preceding year. Sections 31 and 32 are also amended.
