Abstract
These Regulations make provision for licences for fishing by foreign vessels outside of the territorial waters of the Seychelles.
The 9 articles carry the following titles: Citation (1); Application for a licence (2); Form of licence (3); Licence fees (4); No fishing in territorial waters (5); Conditions of licence (6); Prescribed manner of stowage (7); Penalties for contravention (9).
Conditions attached to a licence and specified in article 6 include: the owner of a vessel shall appoint a local authorized agent (a); the owner of the local agent shall execute and maintain a bond (b); notification of entry into waters of the Seychelles (c); initial inspection (d); reports every third day and every week (i).
