Abstract
These Regulations prohibit the carrying out of the following acts in the Cousin Island Special Reserve, which is described by the National Parks and Nature Conservancy (Designation of Special Reserve) (Cousin Island) Order of 1981: (a) disturbing or damaging any marine or terrestrial plant or animal, eggs, spawn, nests of shells; (b) introduction of living creatures in the Reserve; (c) polluting; (d) introduction or having in possession of weapons or illegal poisons; and (e) the lighting of fires. The International Council for Bird Preservation may authorize such acts for purposes of the management of the Reserve or scientific research.
