Abstract
These Regulations prohibit the carrying out of the following acts in the Curieuse Marine National Park as described by the National Parks (Curieuse Marine) (Designation) Order of 1979: (a) disturbing or damaging any plant or animal or its habitat or any eggs, spawn, nests of shells; (b) introduction of living creatures in the Reserve; (c) polluting; (d) introduction or having in possession of weapons or illegal poisons; and (e) the lighting of fires. The Director of Conservation of National Parks of the Department of Environment may authorize such acts for purposes of the management of the Reserve or scientific research and may impose other restrictions on activities in the national Park. The Minister may designate areas for mooring. Restrictions are placed on the use of pleasure boats in the National Park.
