Abstract
This Act establishes the National Council for Research and Development, which shall, among other things: (a) advise the Government on a national research and development policy, including general planning and the assessment of the requisite financial resources; (b) identify research and development activities consonant with the national development objectives; (c) ensure the application of the results of research activities to national development and for the welfare of the people of Seychelles; and (d) initiate, support, coordinate and monitor research and development activities of the nation and ensure maximum utilization of research resources.
