Public Health (Amendment) Act, 2021.(Act 3 of 2021).

This Act amends section 26(1) of section 64 of the Public Health Act, 2015. The amendments of section 26 (1) mainly concern minor rewording but they also add a point (F) providing that the Minister may prescribe the requirements of vaccination as a preventive measure to combat, control, treat and prevent the spread of infectious diseases, especially in emergency situations.
Section 64 is amended by adding three new paragraphs concerning the creation of offences and the imposition of penalties.
