Agreement on Declaration of Principles between The Arab Republic of Egypt, The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia And The Republic of the Sudan On The Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam Project (GERDP).

This Agreement between Egypt, Ethiopia and Sudan sets out principles recognized by the Parties regarding the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam project. These are the Principle of Cooperation, the Principle of Development, Regional Integration and Sustainability, the Principle Not to Cause Significant Harm, the Principle of Equitable and Reasonable Utilization, the Principle to Cooperate on the First Filling and Operation of the Dam, the Principle of Peaceful Settlement of Disputes and the Principle of Confidence Building. Other principles regard dam safety, souvereign equality and data exchange and information.
