Regulation on production, processing and circulation of plant preparations of 1996.

The aim of this Regulation is to manage the production, processing and distribution of plant medicines and preparations. This Regulation is composed of 3 Chapters divided into 11 articles. Chapter 1 deals with terms and definitions. Chapter 2 provides for the following: (a) registration of plant medicines and preparations; (b) competencies of the Technical Committee for Registration of Medicines; (c) places of sale and the persons entitled to sell; and (d) validity of registration and fees. Chapter 3 deals with the following: (a) advertising and publicity of plant medicines and preparations; (b) appeal; and (c) offences and penalties.
