Act No. 592 of 2000 relative to wildlife protection areas.

This Act provides for the creation and management of Wildlife Protection Areas. Such areas may be created by two or more owners of adjacent properties for the purpose of co-ordination of wildlife and hunting management, protection of wildlife resources, and to promote hunting interests of the participants. The owners shall form an association for the management of the area. The creation of the area shall be communicated to the County Council of the County in which the area lies (sect. 11). Sections 7 and 9 set out conditions for the creation of an area. Section 16 concerns the internal regulation of a wildlife protection area.
