Act related to the authorization to transfer vessels (1977:494).

This Act regulates the transfer of vessels registered in Sweden to foreign registers. Transfer requires an authorization of the Council of Ministers or an authority duly delegated by it. The decision on authorization shall take into consideration effects on employment and labour conditions on board. Certain considerations of public interest are to be taken into account. Transfer of vessels contrary to provisions of this Act shall be handled in accordance with provisions of Act 299 of 1939. (3 sections)
