Abstract
These Regulations concerns climate reporting by national authorities and other public bodies required according to - 1. The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change; 2. The Kyoto Protocol; 3. Decisions made under the Climate Convention or the Kyoto Protocol; 4. Regulation (EU) No 525/2013 and other selected EU legislation. The Swedish Environmental Protection Agency shall coordinate the national climate reporting work, maintain the reporting system that is needed, and produce and compile documentation for the reporting and leave the documentation to the government. Reports shall be made in particular under Regulation (EU) No 525/2013. The authorities that, according to this Regulation, participate in the climate reporting work shall ensure that the methods used for reporting maintain the quality that is needed for Sweden's climate reporting is done correctly and with the right information. The authorities must have internal procedures for planning, implementing, controlling, documenting and following up the quality work and consult with each other in order to develop and maintain a coordinated quality system. Reporting obligations are specified for various public bodies including, amongst others, the Swedish Board of Agriculture.
