Decree (1993:221) for the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences.

This Decree contains provisions for the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU). The SLU conducts research and provides education at the doctoral, advanced, and undergraduate levels in fields such as agriculture, horticulture, landscape planning, food production, nature conservation, forestry and wood processing, fisheries and aquaculture, as well as veterinary medicine and animal husbandry. Additionally, the university engages in continuous environmental analysis. It is also tasked with identifying and analyzing risks that new scientific findings and technologies may be used for antagonistic purposes against agricultural and food production, and shall also conduct risk assessments of plant pests.
