Decree (1996:93) on national support for agriculture in northern Sweden.

This Decree contains provisions on national support for agriculture in northern Sweden. Support may be provided under this Decree to create better conditions for agriculture in areas of northern Sweden where, due to climate and other production conditions, it is particularly difficult to carry out such activities. Support may be provided to farmers producing milk, piglets, slaughter pigs, goats, eggs, potatoes, berries, or vegetables, as well as to companies transporting milk to dairies. Support is not provided to farmers who cultivate less than three hectares of agricultural land within the support areas. Support is provided within the geographical areas specified in Appendix 1 to this Decree.
