Decree (2006:1166) on fees for official control of food and certain agricultural products.

The present Decree lays down rules on fees to be paid to state and regional authorities for official control of food and certain agricultural products. A control authority's costs for public control of food and organic production shall be covered by an annual fee. Specific rules for fees for approval and registration of facilities are included. The Swedish Food Safety Agency may issue regulations on the obligation to pay a fee to pay for control of residues of pesticides, veterinary preparations, persistent organic pollutants and other contaminants in food produced in Sweden.
