Decree (2009:381) on state aid for local water conservation projects.

This Decree makes provision for the funding by the State of local water conservation projects by municipalities and/or non-profit organizations that contribute to achieving environmental quality goals as established by the Swedish Parliament. The projects may concern both freshwater resources and marine areas and may be based on the Decree on the management of the aquatic environment quality (2004:660) Decree (2010:1341) relative to protection of the marine environment. They may be about, for example, the recovery of lost fishing gear, the prevention of excessive phosphor in beds, or the eutrophication of the aquatic environment.
