Decree (2009:659) on the trade of pharmaceuticals.

The present Decree contains provisions implementing Act (2009:366) on the trade of pharmaceuticals. It also contains provisions on veterinary medicinal products. When dispensing a prescription for a veterinary medicinal product, the entity authorized to engage in the retail sale of medicinal products shall provide the information required for a prescription of veterinary medicinal products to the Swedish eHealth Agency. The Swedish eHealth Agency shall, for purposes related to supervision, monitoring, and statistics, upon request, provide this information to the Medical Products Agency, the County Administrative Boards, the Swedish Board of Agriculture, and the National Veterinary Institute, including on veterinary medicinal products.
