Decree (2024:147) on state grants for sami organizations.

This Decree contains provisions on state grants for organizations representing the indigenous people and national minority, the Sami. The purpose of the state grant is to support the activities of organizations representing the Sami. A Sami organization is an organization that: 1) Represents the Sami people and has a majority of its members consisting of Sami; and 2) Engages in activities aimed at strengthening the influence of the Sami, promoting Sami identity, culture, and language, combating discrimination, or spreading knowledge about the Sami. The Decree contains detailed rules on the conditions for grants and grant amount, application for grants, notification obligation, among other matters.
