Decree containing instructions for the State Energy Authority (SFS 2007:1153).

This Decree defines duties and powers of the Energy Authority and provides rules relative to its administration and related matters.
The Authority shall, among other things: secure energy production and supply; be responsible for environmental matters relative to the energy sector; be responsible for rational production and distribution of energy, including hydropower; be instrumental in the adaptation to and development of ecological production methods; carry out measures and collaborate (internationally) for matters concerning prevention of climate change.
