Decree relative to environmental quality standards for fisheries and mollusc waters (SFS No. 554 of 2001).

This Decree concerns the quality of freshwater, whether streaming or standing still, of water that is a habitat to salmon and of coastal and brackish waters for the culture of mussels. The Decree shall apply to such water as the Nature Conservation Agency may prescribe. The Decree prescribes quality standards for water in its Schedule. It further concerns reporting to the European Community on quality of fishing waters and measures for improvement of such waters.
