Abstract
This Decree contains provisions that allow the county administrative board to provide state aid to companies for certain measures aimed at preserving, enhancing, developing, or restoring biological diversity. Support may be provided for pruning deciduous trees on or adjacent to agricultural land if the trees show clear signs of having been pruned repeatedly in the past, in the case of trees with high natural value and only when the measures are deemed to contribute to preserving, enhancing, or developing the tree's high natural value. Support may also be provided for measures that enable overgrown meadowland or pastureland to be mowed or grazed, as specified in section 9. When allocating support under Section 9, measures shall be prioritized that are intended to be carried out on land that: 1) is considered important for preserving or spreading species that benefit from the land being grazed or mowed; 2) is dominated by habitat types listed in the annex to this regulation, which significantly benefit from the land where they occur being grazed or mowed; and 3) after the implemented measures, is expected to be dominated by habitat types listed in the annex to this regulation.
