This Act provides rules for the award of indemnity for decreased size of water bodies owned by private persons due to the determination of shorelines and water depths in accordance with the Act on the borders of public waters (1950:595) and a specified measurement system. An indemnity claim must be made by the Swedish Chamber of Commerce, which decides on compensation for the state's account.
