Regulation (2017: 868) containing instructions for County Councils.

This Regulation provides with respect to the administration of Counties by County Councils and defines the tasks of such public bodies. In each county there is a county administrative board that is responsible for the state administration in the county, to the extent that no other authority is responsible for specific administrative tasks. The Regulation defines the principles of administration and it the fields of competence of the Councils. These include, among other things, the administration of fisheries, agriculture, rural areas, wildlife, and the environment in general.
There shall be within the county administration of specified counties a delegated committee for water matters or a delegated committee for reindeer management. These committees shall be special executive bodies for their area of competence.
