Regulation (2018:495) on state subsidies for the purification of wastewater from pharmaceutical residues.

This Regulation seeks to reduce the emission of drug residues in the aquatic environment, to achieve the environmental quality objectives, and to ensure that the coastal and archipelago, lakes and streams become non-toxic environments. If there are financial resources available, the Nature Protection Agency may pursuant to this Regulation grant funds to municipalities, municipalities or municipalities for 1. Investments in techniques or methods that have the main purpose of separating drug residues from sewage treatment in sewage treatment plants, and 2. Preliminary studies or other preparatory actions for investments in such techniques and methods.
