Regulation on environmental compensation in relation with the transport of freight by rail (2018:675).

This Regulation provides for an environmental compensation (eco bonus) to be granted by the Swedish Transport Administration in order to stimulate the transfer of transport of goods by rail. Environmental incentives may be granted to a recipient for his/her share of the total transport work carried out on the rail, which eligible persons have reported to the Swedish Transport Administration in accordance with section 8 for a specified period. Transport operations are calculated as the amount of goods transported in tonnes multiplied by the distance in kilometers that the goods have been transported in Sweden.
