The Swedish Agency for Marine and Water Management's Operational Strategy 2021-2023.

The present Operational Strategy sets out overarching goals for the activities of the Swedish Agency for Marine and Water Management over the three-year period 2021–2023. It defines the framework in the Agency's process of planning and follow-up. The Strategy defines the following operational goals: 1) Flourishing Lakes and Streams; 2) A Balanced Marine Environment, Attractive Coastal Areas and Archipelagos; 3) Sustainable Utilisation of Water and Marine Resources; 4) Increased Knowledge Generation through Effective Monitoring, Follow-Up and Well-Managed Information Assets; 5) Increased Regulatory Compliance through Advanced Fisheries Control and Traceability; 6) Communicative Leadership and Employeeship that also Enhance our Attractiveness as an Employer; 7) Working Methods are Digital and Innovative; and 8) Legally Secure, Effective Processes and Competent Decision-Making Result in Good Public Management Decisions.
