Abstract
These Regulations are enacted in accordance with the Carbon Pricing Act 2018.
The Order grants an exemption to Singapore LNG Corporation Pte. Ltd. (SLNG) from specific provisions of the Carbon Pricing Act 2018. This exemption applies to the registration of SLNG's relevant business facility as a taxable facility for the trigger years 2022 and 2023. The exemption for the year 2023 is conditional upon the total amount of reckonable greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from the facility being less than 39,814 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (tCO2e).
