Control of Essential Supplies Act,(Chapter 55);revised version 1985.

This Act makes provisions for the rationing and control over essential food supplies, for the appointment of Controller of Supplies, Deputy Controllers of Supplies, Assistant Controllers of Supplies to enforce and comply with the above mentioned provisions, in order to ensure the proper sale and trade of rationed food articles and avoid any illegal dealing with them.
