Abstract
These Regulations provide for the control of food business operators with respect to hygienic conditions in the production and placing on the market of food. They consist of 4 Parts divided into 33 Regulations, and of 1 Schedule.
Any food establishment or private market or a stall in a food establishment or private market, shall apply for a licence to the Director-General (Part II). Part III sets out provisions on the following matters: storage and refrigeration of food; packaging of food; storage of raw meat and uncooked fish; transport of food; restrictions on the sale and preparation of food; hygiene of equipment and of personnel, etc. Part IV contains penal provisions and provisions of miscellaneous nature.
