Environmental Public Health (Toxic Industrial Waste) Regulations.

These Regulations provide for the collection and disposal of toxic industrial waste. Toxic industrial wastes are specified in the schedule. The Director-General shall be notified if a generator exceeds the authorized levels of industrial toxic waste. A generator shall not use or keep toxic industrial waste unless there are on-site disposal facilities established with the permission of the Director-General, or a toxic industrial waste collector has been engaged to dispose of the waste. An application for a toxic industrial waste collector licence shall be made to the Director-General . The Regulations provide for the import and transport of toxic industrial waste. The remaining Regulations contain penal provisions and provisions of miscellaneous nature.
