Abstract
This Act, consisting of 11 sections and one Annex, provides for the manufacture and production of animal feed, eventual additives lawfully permitted. It establishes the requirements to be met in order to obtain an authorization to perform the above mentioned activities. In particular, the Director-General may issue a licence to any person to import, manufacture, process for sale or sell simple feeds, feed concentrates or compound feeds upon an application made in the form listed in the Annex and the payment of related fees. The Director-General may at any time, revoke or suspend a licence. No person shall import, manufacture, process for sale or sell those products without a licence issued by the Director-General. In addition, it prescribes fees to be paid and offences and penalties for illegal activities.
