Fish Culture (Control and Licensing) Rules, 1981.

The Regulations prescribe licensing requirements for establishing, maintaining or operating a fish culture farm (sect. 3). The Director of Fisheries may designate areas within which fish culture may be carried out and may specify the type of fish to be cultured (sect. 4). The Schedule lists conditions attached to the licence. The Regulations seem to apply to freshwater aquaculture and mariculture.
