Abstract
These Rules set out procedures and requirements to apply for a licence authorizing fishing vessels to ply at any port in Singapore. The Rules prescribe licence fees, assign identification numbers to fishing vessels and provide for the maintenance by the Director general of a register of licences.
These Rules are divided as follows: 1 Citation; 2 Licence required; 3 Application and particulars; 4 Inspection of vessel; 5 Fees; 6 Identification of vessel; 7 Register of Licences; 8 Crew book; 9 Vessel restricted to specified area; 10 Accident, loss of vessel, etc.; 11 Police assistance; 12 Inspection of documents; 13 Registration of worker; 14 Exemption.
