Abstract
These Regulations set out procedures for applying for a licence to operate sand or granite quarries and for the submission of a sand or granite quarry plan.
The Regulations prescribe licence fees and set out measures for the alteration of quarries, assessment of damage, clearing of quarry waste, disposal of silt, the use of explosives for granite quarries, safety of surroundings of excavations, basting operations, etc.
