TO BE CANCELLED Act on Intervention Measures to Contain the COVID-19 Epidemic and Mitigate its Consequences for Citizens and the Economy.

This Act, in order to mitigate the consequences of the COVID-19 epidemic for citizens of the Republic of Slovenia and for its economy, here amends and supplements the provisions of the following relevant national laws: 1. The Intervention Measure Deferred Payment of Borrowers' Obligations Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia 36/2020); 2. Act on Intervention Measures in the Field of Wages and Contributions (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia 36/2020); 3. Infectious Diseases Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia 33/2006-officially consolidated version).
This Act also provides for temporary measures to mitigate the effects of the epidemic in the field of work and payment of social security, health care and health insurance, social security, public funding rights and enforcement of parental rights, taxes, public finances, public sector wages and benefit companies (directly and indirectly majority state-owned), agriculture, forestry and nutrition, water management, environmental protection, culture, science and research, prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing, insurance and the financial market instruments, public procurement, contractual penalties, enforcement and personal bankruptcy, public services, financial operations of companies, insolvency proceedings and compulsory termination, exemption from the payment of radio and television signal services, and further addresses additional police powers.
