Decree on the implementation of intervention support for activities of information and promotion of products from quality schemes from the strategic plan of the common agricultural policy 2023-2027.

This Decree governs the implementation of the support intervention for the activities of information and promotion of products from quality schemes from Article 77 of Regulation (EU) 2021/2115 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 2 December 2021 on establishing rules on support for strategic plans drawn up by member states within the framework of the common agricultural policy (CAP strategic plans) and financed by the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund (EAGF) and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD). The purpose of the intervention is to co-finance the costs incurred in the implementation of information and promotion activities: 1. quality schemes: organic production and processing, schemes of optional quality indication, selected quality or 2. products from the following quality schemes: protected geographical indication, protected designation of origin and guaranteed traditional specialties. The goals of the intervention are: 1. improving the recognition of products from quality schemes among consumers in the local environment and their awareness of the range of these products; 2. greater consumer demand for products from quality schemes; 3. encouraging more active and coordinated promotion of products from quality schemes among producers; 4. improvement of the price situation of products from quality schemes on the internal market of the European Union; 5. better connection of producers of products from quality schemes and improvement of the position of producers in the food supply chain. The object of support from the intervention is considered a project in accordance with the regulation governing common provisions for the implementation of rural development interventions that are not related to land or animals from the strategic plan of the common agricultural policy 2023-2027.
