Abstract
This Decree, in accordance with Directive (EU) 2019/883 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 April 2019 on port reception facilities for the discharge of waste from ships, sets out the rules of conduct for the protection of marine environment from vessels using ports of the Republic of Slovenia. These rules are aimed at improvement and use of appropriate port facilities for receiving waste from vessels and delivering it to these facilities while simultaneously ensuring the smooth flow of maritime traffic.
The Annex is also here attached (Annex 1: Requirements for the waste reception plan from vessels; Annex 2: Set of waste from vessels from Annex 3 of Directive 2019/883/EU that can be classified as municipal waste and an indicative set of waste numbers from the list of waste suitable for waste from vessels).
