Abstract
This Act sets out the criteria for determining significant start-up investments for holdings following the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) epidemic. This text also establishes the coordination group and the way of its works, coordination of procedures for obtaining opinions, consents, permits and decisions on the basis of sectoral regulations, and the conditions for removing obstacles and effectively implementing important investments to the Slovenian economy.
This Act shall apply to significant investments determined on the basis of these provisions, until 31 December 2021. The purpose of this Act is to enable the accelerated launch of significant investments in the Republic of Slovenia, as soon as possible after the end of the COVID-19 epidemic, which shall enable faster start-up of economic activity and growth in key investment sectors thus a faster recovery of the Slovenian economy. The criteria for determining significant investments are that: the investments implement the objectives of national strategic policies and programmes in fields of transport, energy, economic development infrastructure, environment, agriculture, housing construction, health care, home care, construction of sheltered housing, education, sports and science, defense, public administration, culture, internal affairs and Foreign Affairs and Justice; investments implement objectives of strategic policies and European cohesion policy programmes; and other as listed in article 4.
