Regulation on assesment of ambient air quality and public information on ambient air quality.

This Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning lays down, in accordance with Directive 2008/50/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on ambient air quality and cleaner air for Europe: (1) methods and criteria for assessing ambient air quality; (2) details on access to information on air quality to support the reduction of air pollution and to monitor long-term trends, and improvements due to measures at local, national and European Union levels; (3) details on regular informing the public about air quality. The present Regulation is composed of the following Sections: General provisions (Sec. 1); Assessment of air quality (Sec. 2); Air quality assessment program (Sec. 3): Informing the public and annual reports (Sec. 4); Transitional and final provisions (Sec. 5).
