Abstract
This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food, which is composed of 22 articles and one Annex, lays down provisions governing the use of graphic image of such trademarks like ""higher quality"", ""organic,"" ""integrated,"" ""guaranteed traditional specialty"", ""geographical indication"", ""designation of origin"" and ""natural mineral water"" for identifying agricultural products and foodstuffs. For example, the trademark of ""higher quality"" is awarded to the applicant that has obtained from the Minister for Agriculture, Forestry and Food the right to use the designation of higher quality and from the designated organization for the control and certification of compliance with regulations governing the protection of agricultural products and foodstuffs, an instrument of conformity of agricultural products or foodstuffs with the certified specification. Monitoring of the implementation of these provisions is carried out by the Inspectorate of the Republic of Slovenia for Agriculture, Forestry and Food.
