Abstract
This Regulation of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, which is composed of 52 articles and ten Annexes, establishes measures and procedures designed to prevent or reduce air pollution from industrial plants, measures relating to the protection of human health around the installations of stationary sources of pollution, and measures related to ensuring the security of people and the environment from harmful effects of pollution due to emissions from these devices. In particular, This Regulation sets out: requirements for the operation of industrial plants; requirements for obtaining an environmental permit to operate the industrial plant; requirements related to preventing and reducing adverse effects on human health and living in the area of stationery sources of pollution; methods of assessment of air quality; limits of emissions; requirements related to limitation of emissions and on the use of best available techniques; methods of evaluation of atmospheric emissions; measures to prevent and reduce atmospheric emissions; conditions of the adaptation of existing industrial plants causing the pollution of the air.
