Abstract
This Regulation of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, which is composed of 16 articles and one Annex, establishes types of activities and facilities, which may cause environmental pollution and their operator must obtain an environmental permit in accordance with the law governing the protection of the environment. This Regulation also sets out the detailed contents and components of an application for an environmental permit, the detailed content of an environmental permit and the criteria for assessing the use of the best available techniques. The Regulation is divided into the following Sections: General provisions (Sec. 1); Activities and facilities for which environmental permit must be obtained (Sec. 2); Applications for authorization (Sec. 3); Contents of environmental permit (Sec. 4); Inspection (Sec. 5); Penalty provisions (Sec. 6); Transitional and final provisions (Sec. 7). The Annex specifies types of activities and facilities which may cause large-scale environmental pollution.
