Abstract
This Regulation determines the composition and working methods of the Slovenian expert Council for plant health protection. The tasks of the Council as a professional advisory body in the field of plant health protection are, in particular, to: advise on the introduction of measures to prevent the introduction, spread and suppression of harmful organisms; proposes scientific and educational activities in the field of plant health protection; monitors systemic and developmental issues in the field of plant health care and proposes priority tasks; proposes priority risk assessments due to harmful organisms; proposes development plans in plant health care; participates in the creation of bases for the preparation of legislation; gives expert opinions on other important decisions in the field of plant health care.
