Regulation on immission monitoring of surface water quality for the life of freshwater fish species.

This Regulation determines the method and extent of mandatory immission monitoring of surface water for the life of freshwater fish species. Monitoring is provided by the ministry responsible for the environment. This text sets issues regarding the analysis which is a technical operation by which one or more parameter values are determined according to a certain procedure (the Annex of this text contains technical indications and specific prescribed parameters among frequency of sampling). Measurement uncertainty is the range associated with the measurement result and indicates the scatter of values that can be reasonably attributed to the value of the measured parameter; the limit of determination is the lowest concentration of the parameter that can be determined with an acceptable level of uncertainty; the limit of detection is the lowest value of the parameter that can be measured by the specified analytical method; the measuring site is the site of collecting water samples for determining the quality of surface water. Implementation of monitoring includes: establishment of a network of measuring points for determining the quality of surface water; implementation of measurements in accordance with the program; and creation of a report on the measurements and analyses.
