This Regulation of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, which is composed of 34 articles, establishes special requirements concerning emission of pollutants into the air from large combustion plants. In particular, the Regulation specifies: limits of emission for individual types of plants; types of fuels and categories of emissions; measures relating to reducing emissions into the air; methods of adaptation of old and existing large combustion plants to the requirements established by this Regulation. The provisions of this Act apply to combustion plants, the rated thermal input of which is equal to or greater than 50 MW, regardless of the type of fuel used: solid, liquid or gaseous. For the purposes of these provisions, emsission means any discharge of substances from large combustion plants into the air.
