Abstract
This Regulation of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, which is composed of 37 articles and seven Annexes, establishes mandatory requirements for waste relating to collection, transportation, transmission, marketing, processing and disposal of waste, waste classification list and reporting obligations to the European Commission. This Regulation applies to the management of natural excavation with contamination calssified as hazardous waste. The Regulation is divided into the following Sections: General provisions (Sec. 1); Waste prevention and treatment (Sec. 2); Obligations of waste producer (Sec. 3); Liabilities of waste collectors (Sec. 4); Obligations concerning treatment of waste (Sec. 5); Obligations of the carrier of waste (Sec. 6); Liabilities of dealers (Sec. 7); Record keeping and reporting to the Commission (Sec. 8); Control (Sec. 9); Penalty provisions (Sec. 10); Transitional and final provisions (Sec. 11).
