Regulation on the market information system for the market of cereals, oilseeds and officially certified seeds.

This Regulation specifies the detailed content, procedure and parties responsible for reporting the prices, quantities and quality of wheat purchased during the harvest. This text also determines the detailed content, procedure and persons liable for reporting on the quantities and prices of wheat and corn purchased on the internal market of the European Union, and on the prices of wheat and corn imported from third countries. This Regulation further specifies the detailed content, procedure and parties responsible for reporting stocks of cereals, oilseeds and officially certified seeds as for the needs of implementation of related EU legislative documents (listed in article 1, paragraph 3). Those liable to report on the prices and quantities of wheat and corn purchased on the internal market of the European Union or imported from third countries are legal or natural persons who purchase, purchase or import a total of more than 500 tons of wheat or corn annually. Those obliged to report on the prices, quantities and quality of purchased wheat during the harvest are legal or natural persons who took over or purchased more than 500 tons of wheat during the previous year during the harvest. Obligees for reporting on stocks of cereals and oilseeds are legal or natural persons who annually redeem, purchase or import a total of more than 1,000 tons of the product from the Annex, which is an integral part of these regulations. Legal or natural persons who annually sell more than 50 tons of wheat and barley seeds or more than 10 tons of corn seeds are obliged to report stocks of wheat, barley and corn seeds. Article 3 defines related deadlines and form of reporting.
